Youth

In El-Shaddai Youth and Teens Ministry our aim is to help young people to take hold of that 'LIFE' and 'wholeness' that Jesus Christ bought for them 2000 years ago.

We believe that in order for us to really 'live' it is important that we accept that God knows best and that means living by the Book [Josh 1v8]. In the youth ministry we encourage the youth to base their lives on their Makers Handbook - The Word of God and seek to do things His Way. To learn to trust Him and not rely on their own 'worldly' understanding but in all their ways to acknowledge Him.

We are aware of the issues young people are faced with today: drug and alcohol misuse and sexual promiscuity amongst others, all of which seek to steal their lives. Young people have to be bold and courageous to dare to stand up and be different in their schools and colleges. therefore it is important that each one has their own personal relationship with their Saviour, is baptised in the Power of the Holy Spirit and is equipped with strategies to help them to stand and be all that God destined them to be - with nothing missing and nothing broken.

Through the following agenda we seek to train, equip and encourage each young person to enter into a dynamic personal relationship with Jesus, and for those who have, we encourage them to go deeper into the things of God so that they are all effective witness for Christ.
