Victory Conference 2007

‘The best yet!’ was the unanimous verdict on El-Shaddai Bradford’s major event of the year - Victory Conference 2007, hosted by Pastors Jerome & Ruth Anekwe.

With record attendance of nearly 5000 people over the whole conference and a power-packed schedule of electric praise and worship followed by anointed preaching, this was a red-letter weekend for the ministry.

From the outset of the conference there was a sense that God was propelling the church to a new level and as Senior Pastor Dr Ramson Mumba exhorted delegates to set their faith thermostats higher than ever and to expect God to break out in their lives in these last six months of 2007, there was an increasing awareness that this was our set time for unprecedented favour and breakthrough. Dr Anekwe encouraged people to tap into the power of diligence and seek God like never before and Pastor Ruth delivered a powerful mandate to the gathered delegates to get serious about reaching people for Jesus and to make a difference in the world.

Visiting speakers Pastors Tony and Cynthia Brazelton from Victory Christian Ministries International in Washington DC ministered with prophetic authority throughout the weekend and signs and wonders followed the preached word. As the Brazeltons and Pastor Gertjan Goldschmeding from Amersfoort Christian Centre in Holland ministered the healing power of God to people, testimonies began to flow from delegates who had been set free from long-standing physical ailments.

The grand finale of this year’s conference was a dynamic praise and worship concert featuring special guest international recording artist Dr Ron Kenoly. Dr Kenoly’s passion for God and love for His people was evident to the 1200-strong congregation as he engaged people of every age, background, colour and tongue in dynamic, spirit-led worship. Victory Conference 2007 drew to an unforgettable close as the evening concluded with over 100 people responding to Dr Kenoly’s appeal to give their lives to Jesus and get back on track with God.
