Bradford International Day 2011

International Day 2011

We had a great time at our International Day celebrating some of the 53 different cultures represented in the church. The service was jam-packed with readings in everything from Portuguese to Urdu, the choir singing in Nigerian and Botswanan and Pastor Hannah even tried her hand at some very rusty German! The dance troupe treated us to an international medley supported by kids from the local community and our own kids choir sang their hearts out.

The congregation looked awesome in an array of national dress and after the service we tucked into foods from Zambia, Ghana, Cameroon, Turks and Caicos Islands, Jamaica, Barbados, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Angola, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and China. The day was such a success that we’re planning another one in October, watch this space!!
