New Years' Eve

31st December 2007

There is no doubt about it - the New Year’s Eve Celebration at El-Shaddai Bradford is the place to be on December 31st and this year visitors flocked to Restoration House from all over the region, and indeed the country, to participate in a memorable evening which included dynamic praise and worship, inspiring testimony, heartfelt thanksgiving for all God has done in 2007, a prophetic impartation concerning what God has in store for us in 2008 and an outstanding cabaret performance to close.

Over 900 people gathered to hear Dr Anekwe’s keynote message for the coming year, entitled ‘2008 - The Year of Sweatless Victory’. Ministering under the power of the Holy Spirit, Dr Anekwe expounded the prophetic word that Senior Pastor Ramson Mumba has declared over the whole ministry – that God’s will for us in 2008 is that we be established in everything we do, leading to sweatless victory in all areas of our lives.

After a short break for refreshments, the ESICC Worship Team took to the stage in their own inimitable style and we saw the old year out with a dazzling array of talent made up of singers, dancers, musicians and actors of all ages and backgrounds. From moving ballads and close a capella harmonies to a courtroom drama and a stunning Nigerian medley, hidden talents were brought out into the open as the celebrations continued right up to the last few moments of 2007.
