Vision

The vision of the men’s ministry here at El Shaddai International Christian Centre, Bradford is to equip and encourage men of all walks of life to:

• Discover their God-given purpose and vision for life and be equipped to fulfil it

• Be empowered spiritually, physically, financially, emotionally and socially

• Develop strong friendships and accountability

• Develop a passion and commitment to become like Christ

• Learn how to win the fight for the family and love their wives as Christ loved the church

• Build strong, awesome marriages

• Be equipped to take their place at the forefront of their industry

• Develop spiritual integrity and behaviour and know how to live a life free from sexual sin

• Be hearers and doers of the word

 

This is achieved through:

Regular meetings which promote and develop strong friendships and accountability among men. Some of the events on offer include:

• Regular breakfast gatherings – with dynamic teaching and preaching

• Annual men’s conference – for men of all cultures and backgrounds, addressing specific needs, common struggles and life challenges from a biblical perspective

• Workshops and seminars

• Group interactions and events – e.g. 'sports-togethers'

• Special interest groups and forums (e.g. for those interested in business, sports, career, ministry etc)
