Having written the last card, bought the last present and hung up the last decoration, what better way to round off Christmas Eve than to join the El-Shaddai Worship Team as they unwrapped the miracle of that very first Christmas 2000 years ago.

In the 2006 Christmas Eve Carol Service the theme of ‘Emmanuel, God With Us’, ran through the seamless flow of narrative, Bible readings, carols and dance leaving the gathered congregation of adults and children in no doubt as to the real meaning of Christmas.

With a special children’s song during which the nativity scene was re-enacted complete with costumes, crib, tinsel and tea-towels, this was an opportunity for the whole church family to celebrate the reason for the season together.
